Challenge
Challenge was to meet client deadline and expectations. Order was placed on Thursday 10 am, Aqua dam was fabricated by Friday at 2 pm and shipped by 7pm. Aqua dam was on site by 2 am Monday morning.
One of the Aqua dams was suspended in a steel plate that broke loose and caused delays in unloading. Launching berms were not high and wide enough and had to be redone.Severe weather such as Tornado warnings, lightening and thunderstorms had to be overcome during transportation & installatio
n.
Solution
Our Partner Aqua Dam worked through the night to get the product ready on Friday. 600 LF of dam were completed ahead of schedule. Project Manager travelled to site on Saturday for installation.
Results
The customer was very pleased with the performance of the Aqua Dam and our determination to help to get this project underway.
Last time the river raised, they lost millions of dollars in high tech equipment and products in the Club House which resulted in them taking almost 1 year to reopen. This year, the Club House was protected and it only will take them about 4-6 months to reopen once the waters recede.
